The Order of the Fiery Bird is an honorary knighthood which is bestowed on men and women citizens who have contributed greatly to the arts, science, culture, politics or economy of The Serene Principality of Serendip. The OFB has also been granted to non-citizens who have achieved a level of greatness and integrity in their respective fields.
Members of the OFB may use the honorary title "Sir" or "Dame" - as appropriate to their gender - or may use the initials "OFB" after their names.
The Prince-Bishop grants the title every April 9th. To nominate somebody for the OFB, send the candidate's name, and a brief [50 words maximum, please] explanation of why the person is being nominated to info@principalityofserendip.com. Please write "OFB Nomination" in the subject line. The Prince Bishop himself makes the final decisions. |
